Launched in 2017, The Workforce Housing Pilot Program subsidizes the rents of twenty-two housing units for teachers, public safety, and public interest workers in Menlo Park. The pilot is in year five of the five-year program. At the conclusion of year five, rental subsidy will continue for existing tenants until they are offered housing at an Educator Housing project in Palo Alto or choose to move out.
